In my case :
°Could not launch Tzar from Steam (still can't, but It's not an issue).
°Had to go to the game files (steam library) and enable Windows XP as the retrocompatibility mode for both the setup .exe and the Tzar .exe.
°Ran the setup .exe first.
°Chose the 1024x768 resolution (I don't mind the upscale and enlarging of the image, as long as the game runs fine). Ran tzar from the Setup .exe the first time.
°Now, I launch the game from the Tzar .exe directly.
Have not encountered any crashes so far.
That's basically my setup, might help or might not help, but might aswell share it.
I can 100% confirm that this...DOES NOT WORK...on Windows 11.
