Error: Windows cannot find "launcher.exe" . make sure you typed name correctly and try again

i downloaded Directx 9.0 and i reinstalled th game..still not working. please help
GPU : GTX 1050Ti
CPU : intel core-i7 7th Gen
RAM : 8GB_DDR4
OS : windows 10

Do you see launcher.exe when you go to look inside your local files?

To check, right-click the game in your library>properties>local files>browse local files. Shouldn't be in any sub-folders so you should see it there fairly fast if the file is there

no i couldn't find it... i pressed verify integrity of game files but nothing happened and i still have the same problem

This prbly classifies as a "launcher removed" error then. There's a couple of threads, one titled "launcher detected as trojan" and the other "launcher keeps getting removed". I'd post the links directly but i'm terrible at figuring out stuff like this on mobile, esp. steam app.

Once you either use exclude or disable for your av('s), then verify integrity and see if you can run it.

I found the solution. McAfee automatically remove the launcher.exe when I start the game. Just restore the lucher.exe in quarantined items and then add this file to scan exclude list.
