Last Achievement bugged?

Is the "win the game on hard mode" achievement bugged? I imagine this achievement unlocks when the demon is defeated on hard difficulty ( which i have done 3 times now). Or is there something I am missing?

The dev probably wanted to say "hardest" instead of "hard". It worked for me on the hardest difficulty.
