I guess the next best thing is to just play the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R., if you haven't yet. It's not possible to go any more slavjank FPS than that. It's as jank as it gets, w/o being unplayable. Got an open world and light RPG-mechanics, though and is much slower paced.

DUSK runs great on the deck. Controller-support is there, HUD-scaling for better readability, all that good stuff.
Sort of unrelated, but there's even a Nintendo Switch-port, which targets 60FPS and holds that most of the time.
No idea about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, but i'd imagine, that some tinkering may be required for those. Though, a glance at it's ProtonDB-page suggest, that it should run well with difficult to read text being the main issue:
