yeah this.
The Astray-Duo is IMO the hardest chaos-mission under normal circumstances.
The SD Gundams, though? Without some sort of cheese, they tear through your team in no time. My only strategy is "Do it on easy."
Go back a safe distance and just stomp him before going back for the last one.
Also, to speed things up, from the start of the mission, just run away from every other grunt until you reach the Destiny boss which you must kill (build up your SPA/meter). The grunts in the earlier area won't attack you as long as you don't go back there after you defeat the Destiny boss.
Same deal with the triple SD Gundam Chaos mission, it is just too annoying to not cheese it to beat it Solo. Even the EX missions aren't as lame as that mission.
I had a problem with this one.. and even at 80 i was getting rocked.. i finally did it in mulitplayer.. there are way more chaos like this one.. so be prepared to play with strangers
lol
That's the main issue.
Normally you can handle the "boss-duo's" the same way you'd handle a solo boss, but with the huge number of mobs it's next to impossible to manage and exploit aggro as well as reviving one another.
When you have a Freedom or Wing at high level you could try going in with your SPA immediately to clear as many mobs as possible right at the start tho.
the thing about 3 SD gundam chaos is that
"You can run away"
while this red blue duo have
"2 wave of grunts"
and
"basically infinite aggro range"
and red frame have grab attack,
and being NPC they can spam whatever attack they want with no reload/cd
even using lv 80 unit does not make it easier, wing 0 ally help a lot tho
but it still is the most unfair mission of the game imo
worst part is when an ally down and there are still any grunt alive
ally is just too stupid to do anything in that case and will follow its friend shortly
slow walking to corpse and attempt to revive just to get slap and repeat ad infinitum is not a fun thing to watch
