How are you faring with the new EX missions?
I tried with both God gundam and FAUnicorn, but on ex 1 I get wiped by God and Master gundams, and the other two missions are overwhelming me with the grunt units.
Any advices?

I will say these missions are designed for corporations, so try join in others room if you can find one. Or you can try bring two melee type unit, they have higher HP, and bring equipment like restore all health, skills like doctor, exceed repair (not sure the correct name, not use English)

pain in the ass if you play with keyboard and mouse cause of the stupid target auto swap, i have to clear the mobs first unleast im using a scissor up close.

Playing on Switch but managed fine on EX 1 this morning before work, dodging and auto guard def helps a lot as they seem to stick to you and are more aggressive in EX mode so not having to hit the guard button(but when I do getting the occasion counter is nice). Using Norn with Master and 00-Raiser as AI companions and went fine just playing like normal. haven't had any experience with EX2-3 yet though so not sure how much rougher those get.

My personal preference when fighting multiple bosses at the same time would be to use all-rounder units and do hit-while-running. I usually go for either Strike Freedom or Latreia, they have a strong ultimate, fairly high HP, do decent damage per hit and their attacks hits multiple times very fast which helps gets the ultimate up a lot quicker with the skill "Mind's Eye".

I was able to clear two times EX 2, and failing it two times as well, sigh. I will try to clear it as much times as I can to outlevel the missions, but it will not change much, probably.

Playing in multiplayer helps a lot. AI teammates aren't the best in terms of damage output, which tends to drag the game longer. Longer game means more chances for the enemy to land an attack on you :steamsad:

I ran them solo last night using Phoenix and greatly enjoyed my time with them, but honestly I felt like not having any talking at all was a detriment.

I wanted to hear Iok scream when he died damn it!

I will admit it gave me some trouble, EX 3 had me really worried it wasn't going to end with Devil Gundam.

Well I'm a solo player, so I'm bit struggling. Still I was able to clear a few times EX 2, getting the unicorn to lv 90. I believe there should be a skill that heals partners when you use a medikit, I hope that will make them more resistant.

If you have component with omni guard, you could try using that in conjunction with auto guard. That should give you a lot of passive survival.
Then take the pilot skill that grants you faster healing and/or extra repair kit replenished upon using role action would help a lot in terms of survival. (and don't wait to use the kit for self revive as you heal for less. Try to heal before you go down)

Alternatively, practice/experiment with build until you come up with a combo that can instantly take out like more than half of an enemy ace's hp, then focus on performing perfect guard counter on one of them (insta breaks the balance bar if you succeed on doing so). This will allow you to very quickly down one while the other is occupied by your AI.

I've teamed up with 3 shooters (me:FAZZ, Banshee, Phoneix) and pass all the hard ex levels in our first attempt.

I would say it's 3 pieces of stinky turd. Devs have no understanding of how to make a game challenging. They make annoying missions instead.

For EX1 as Full Armor Unicorn, get Mind's Eye, Raring to go, and what ever you prefer I use Armor Pierce

Get your AI to get focused by Epyon, and during the fight with Double X if they are really low try to get the boss to get aggro on them and avoid it so they can die and be healed up (Bosses don't spawn till you touch the chest),

Then during Master Asia and Burning Gundam fight either space yourself out so they are split and fighting your AI and one is fighting you or let them both focus your AI so that you can unload all your ammo onto both of them, role action and do it again then SPA and keep them broken with Awakened Form, and take them down as fast as possible.

After that you have to face Musha and Command Gundam try to get them both low because as soon as you kill one Knight Command will spawn in and you have to deal with him and that's the end.

I'm REALLY bad at perfect guard/evasion, but the main problem is that the AI partners usually have too few HP left when it's the time to fight master and god gundam, but I will try again.

Is there a sure way to lower the aggro from the boss? I used the same tactic (let the npc die) on EX 2, which somewhat worked, but not always.

As for master/god gundam I usually aggro one of the two, but the other easily kills the AI partners.

As for Musha and the rest yeah, I did the stage on easy and saw this crap coming, sigh.

Best way is to just not fire and then move as far away as possible to drop enemy aggro, it seems to be based on who is doing damage within a certain amount of time, distance and activity

I just did exactly that (don't attack double X gundam when it spawned), I let the AI die, killed him, ressed them, waited for the SPA to be ready and piicked up the BOX, I have also switched meter maxer for no mech is an island, in order to heal the AI after getting FAU into awakened mode and used the role action, and I was finally able to clear it. Surprisingly enough I have found Musha, command and knight to be easier, their defense was lower and didn't have to face god/darkness finger (damn, those two seriously spammed that move).
