As somebody already said, the game is not perfect, but hey, it's a Gundam grinding game with decent enough combat, lots of farming, and plentiful mobile suits to farm, and well, I personally don't mind chibi style at all, played other SD Gundam games before and there are times when I'd prefer it instead of normal style.

It keeps me captivated and focused on getting MS' I want, but then in the same time leveling new MS from the very beginning is pretty boring which feels like a miss, yet to see how resources distribution goes in the end game, but I'm getting close now.

it's OK, not good, only you're a hardcore gundam fan would play this I would say that much.

To be fair, that's how I feel about almost every Gundam game.
Well, as i've mentioned in other posts and in my review of this game, consoles will ALWAYS have better options for Gundam games than PC. To me personally, it's still a good enough game that if PC is your only gaming platform, then you'll still get a decent amount of enjoyment from Battle Alliance.

Honestly this chibi style is the only thing that keeps me from buying.
I like the cool looking mechas from the anime.
Why won't they let me play as an cool looking mecha from the anime instead of something that looks like a kids toy?
I don't get it.

From what I've seen the gameplay loop is terrible

2. SD style. Which, ppl are free to dislike but is not a valid criticism at the game itself imo

oh but its a VERY valid criticism considering the price. if they are going to put in a minimal amount of effort on the models (which is EXACTLY what SD is) why are they charging full price? they should have done MG levels of detail and then had a dlc that let you turn everything SD to atleast prove they are CAPABLE of making a game that looks like a 60$ game.

You are aware they asset flip the full-sized mobile suit games right? Ever played the VS franchise?

If that was the case, why not just asset-flip that again?

If you can't stand the Super Deformed artstyle, this game's the next best thing for you if PC is your only platform.

If that isn't enough for you, see my previous posts about contacting Epic Games about investing in the Mobile Suit Gundam IP.

They all look like kids toys regardless. The fact that you don't see that is kinda concerning.

Because they're entitled spoiled brats. Go work retail you'll see how people show their barbaric side. What I'm seeing here is what a retail worker sees daily with brainless Karen type fools, and the two folks who now seems to pretend they're better than me. Life says otherwise.

And I mean actual retail workers who stick through it thick and thin slaving away having to put up with "but I want it 10 cents cheaper" nonsense, or spitting cherry seeds everywhere without any respect.

Gundam game is good and those actually living their lives see it as a good game. Only this forum is whiny. Everybody (including me) is actually happy while you have the stick in the mud types and fakers hating the game.

You should consider yourself lucky that you don't live in an area where looting has been decriminalized and is sanctioned by local government to the point of arresting anyone attempting to prevent it from happening. Where "I want this sauce for 10 cents cheaper" becomes a violent riot with the store being torn apart with easily thousands of dollars in damages.

You don't know the meaning of barbarism when your worst complaints are having to deal with paying customers. I mean speaking of entitled, you should reflect on what you, yourself, write.

That's a nasty deflection. You can't even apply that to this topic, nobody hacking this place. Nobody is getting scammed, only whiny brats with poor researching skills pretending slamming the table like a toddler will get them what they want

To me the chibi style isn't something that bothers me though I'd still have preferred the mechs to be normal sized similar to the games like this back on the PS2.

Generally I did not enjoy the game and will never recommend it to anyone. The main reason why is how insanely stupid it is to unlock mechs. You have to replay some levels so many times and in different iterations of Break, True, Chaos, Irregular to unlock a mech due to this stupid parts system. Mechs should be unlocked after beating an iteration of a level once based on the difficulty you played it on. No need to grind any currency, no need to keep playing the level to get parts, none of that ♥♥♥♥. Just play it on a certain difficulty to get a mech and done. That right there is replayability done rather than stupid levels of grinding that would make an MMO player go NOPE!

If a MMO player had to do the grind that exists in this game they would be pretty thankful, its crazy easy to make money once you figure out the SPA trick+parts+player skill and you don't necessarily have to replay a mission multiple times, and even then rarely have to replay a singular mission more than say, 5 times so honestly I think you're severely underestimating how much grind you have to do in a MMO, hell for SDGO which is a common comparison if this grind filters you then you would've never wanted to grind PVE missions to get the MS you want, because then you can't even build i t after potentially playing countless times(unlike BA you're not guaranteed anything) because now you have to go roll/build the mats and then level them to whatever level they need to be to unlock it THEN play and level that suit to unlock its skills

I used MMOs as a comparison because its the same mindless chore like grinding with no real enjoyment.

The fact is the way mechs are unlocked in this game is completely asinine and only don the way it is to artificially increase the length of the game. Its stupid to make unlockables all about pointless RNG drop based grinding to get them rather than making them a challenge that gives you the mech outright which increases player enjoyment and quality of content. Some mechs are even worse than others to unlock mainly because certain levels require a fair bit of backtrekking.

To me pointless grinding and backtrekking is just signs of an extremely lazy developer.

When it comes to unlocking some of the best stuff I've always preferred things to be unlocked via a challenge. Its why the PS2 era gundam games have always been superior to what is produced today as in those games you unlock stuff through challenges. Those games came before the era of when grinding became commonplace to unlock stoff. It increased replayability and made the games more enjoyable.

Grinding to unlock stuff to me is boring and is more likely to put me to sleep. That to me is not enjoyable at all.

You're the one who brought up working retail as an excuse for your rant about how entitled and barbaric you think other people are.

I gave you a recent, real life example to show you that your complaints betray the mentality of a young person who has no idea how bad life can really be. You don't need to be telling other people to grow up when you're the one who needs to grow up first.

No, you went on a weird derailed ramble going on about rioting and pillaging. I kept it as people being like lemmings. I see nobody trying to murder or looting anybody or anything here....... Only people spewing out nonsense with a few proper gems of positivity. I noted retail because that is what I see, and what others see.... "customers are always right" bullcrap.

If I wanted to point out the actual hardcore facts of life I would have, such as how woman get violated, or how animals are skinned alive while left twitching while left in a pile. That has no place, hence why I didn't mention it.

Again, throw that fake mask away (fake persona) and snap back to reality. About Gundam and how people don't know how to research games.......... How people are a bunch of lemmings whining about SD format, or buying a game without knowing what they're buying. Researching is a game is key.

I think it's silly to say that the SD versions don't have effort put into them. They're fairly detailed and we can obviously tell which Gundam is which. Stop the hate

Gundam Breaker 3 is the best so far.
Unfortunately for PC gamers, only New Gundam Breaker which is the worst in the Breaker series is on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/738530/New_Gundam_Breaker/
SD BA is slow motion compared to Breaker 3, ngl.
GB3 also has a larger roaster and no MA's issues.
If you have ps4/Vita, it is almost no reason to buy SD BA, tbh, as GB3 with all DLCs is even cheaper and more fun to play than SD BA in virtually every aspect.
