Monster Truck Madness

Watching the trailer for this immediately brought me back to my childhood in the 90's playing Monster Truck Madness. I'm interested to see how this game turns out.

I've been thinking about MTM a lot recently, "It should appear on GOG" "I wonder if anyone's making a monster truck game", then i see this on their Twitter page.
Say what you will about the MX vs ATV series, Rainbow Studios physics have always been unique and bouncy fun and fit perfectly with monster trucks, all this game needs is the content.
Don't rest on the reality of the "sport", put some good old fashioned MTM racing in there!

I’m not sure if my computer at the time wasn’t handing the original MTM well but I remember not being able to complete the stadium races that had the U-turn - as the other truck would just completely go into your lane.

I freaked when I saw this! I absolutely loved MTM1/2 back in the day (even had the GBA version). Unfortunately the price seems a bit steep given what appears to be a lack of content, no online multiplayer and no mapping tools (I played soooooo many custom MTM2 races, including ones that went in a straight line forever since the map loops on itself). Hopefully the team continues to support it (and if it isn't included, add an announcer like the MTM guy). I eagerly look forward to picking it up in the future!

I totally ageee with your feelings on MTM 1/2. I tried this game and ended up refunding due to lacking content. This game would have really been cool with multiplayer included. Also the truck physics do feel light.

I’m with you, that I hope the devs continue to support and work on features.
