Open source it!!! Come on!
Open source this... come on.... the community would fix it and make it the game it should have been. If you won't do it from the goodness of the heart, come up with a $$ amount and maybe we can make it happen... but seriously...open source it please :D

I'm sure they would take some kind of buyout on a dormant game that presumably makes little to no money....

Lol we need some crowdfunding to get this out of 505's hands...

Might be a dumb question, but can we take the files already downloaded?

No you need the source code to make meaningful fixes.

505 Games should be ashamed representing this dev. This is the THIRD time they just abandoned an early access. Should be barred from Steam.

Yess this would be a great game to open source. I;ve always loved the premise of the game and the UI, but it just needs more content, I'm pretty sure opening it up to the community would achieve that.

that would be nice
Its not like this sells much - at least we could make it better and live forever

Did they get back to you?

Nobody internally "owns" the game so they are looking into it.

Open-sourcing this game would be genius... I love this game... I love the concept... I think the devs had a great idea and created something special... They just ran out of time and money... Open-sourcing the game would put something genius into the hands of thousands of potential developers. It would become a phenomenon.

Any news?

well even if we cant have it open source, we have some options:
A: In one of my other posts on fixing some of the bugs, was updating C++ redistributes
B: using the (ois.pdb is in the root dir, and CMakeLists.txt is in the assest folder) to make decompiled code at least *somewhat* slightly more readable.
