Report a translation problem
This has been reported by other players as well, so the devs are informed of the problems that some users are having with the font.
We'll keep you updated about any changes introduced in the game!
With so much reading in the game the current font is too busy and distracting. It should be a clear sans serif monospaced font.
Cheers
Phil
Made the news text-walls a wee bit more readable on a 32" screen without having to sit at the back of the room.
I did try to increase the resolution of the font, but even with editing all the offsets in the plist file I just ended up with oversized characters all overlapping.
I've got it to be a lot less jagged now. Though fuzzy (very fuzzy). But I think I like it better, maybe.
I just wish for a sharp, clean font, given that such things do exist now. But seeing the approach they use with the dosfont.png and the rest of the display system, maybe it's not such a trivial addition to ask for.
I'm past the refund period (from trying workarounds to the font issue -- never got out of the tutorial!), otherwise I would refund it. It's not a bad game from what I see -- I appreciate the work the developers put in and what they're still doing. But it just bothers my eyes too much to keep trying.
Maybe if they do another game they might entertain a different approach to the text.
