Sorry but this didn't clear anything up at all. Why would you feed them twice per day if the food bar is still full with 3 points? They only seem to need food once per day, or every other day. Are you sure the brush does anything? Is it limited to one brushing per day? Does petting them even increase hearts anymore like it used to, or does it just check their status? Since the same animation plays for everything, and the game doesn't show you any numbers between hearts, how can we know? Plus the system keeps changing, you used to be able to just spam pet them until it went up.
I would like a dev to answer these questions, someone who is 100% sure of how the system works, and I'd like it to be more clear in the actual game. I don't think that's asking for too much. Because "Just play and do things randomly until the hearts eventually fill up" doesn't really cut it.
You feed favourite food & brush once per day you get a heart in 3 days.
If you feed non favourite same thing, but 10 - 15 days.
It requires favourite food to evolve it to that evolution stage.
