From qwerty to azerty - Please allow key binding modifications!

Hi! Thanks for what promises to be an awesome game.
However, I cannot enjoy it fully because I have an azerty keyboard and I can't modify the directional key bindings in the controls panel.
It's a nightmare just trying to move in town. You have to criss cros your fingers, press up to go down, and try and get one of your fingers across the others so you can press shift and go a little faster.
I do not doubt it would make an excellent exercise for any pianist but pretty please, could you make it possible to change the key bindings so we can truly enjoy the game?

Hey.
You can usually switch your keyboard from azerty to qwerty using "alt + shift" (or "ctrl + shift").
Temporary solution until key rebinding, but it will make the game a lot more playable ;)

Enable key binding would be good. I just test out the game, since no controller support yet, prefer to use arrow key for moving ( I am right handed, so using most key on the left is so uncomfortable ).

I think I'll wait for controller support before playing.

There IS key rebinding, it's in the inventory screen at the bottom (the Gear icon), however some keys are hard bound and can not be rebound at all.

Yes, you can rebind a few keys but not the W A S D. They are locked for now. I'll just get better at playing the piano! ^^ The worst is when I try to fish or tame a ride.... I just save and try again till I get the hang of it.

I have tried the arrow keys but for some reason or another, they are not activated / do not work for me. The start has been especially difficult but after a few hours of playing (and training) it gets better.

yeah @Ipiu, the arrow keyis locked at the moment, it's would be good if it does work. I tried again using the controller to do the walking and then the rest with key. Seems less uncomfortable. But I encounter bug? like I open the inventory (click "I"), then close it ( click "Esc" ) and I can't open the inventory anymore.

I don't feel like restarting all over again ( tried it a few times already ) So I am now waiting for the fix before I start the game again.

Edit: no longer have the problem not able to open my inventory.

I found another way that makes it much easier too. @Alayric suggested to change the configuration of my keyboard. Though the shortcut he/she mentionned doesn't work with my computer, I went in the parameters and finagled a bit to change the config from azerty to qwerty. There are a few steps to activate it and then deactivate it once you are done playing, but it's totally worth it if you intend to play for a few hours.
WARNING though! I tried to change the key for dismount (which is G initially) and it didn't work at all anymore. I couldn't dismount my magnus, be it with the previous key (G) or the new key I assigned. The only way I found to dismount was to get into a building to trigger the auto-dismount. Better be cautious with changing the keys for now since it still triggers quite a few bugs.
