Well, isn't that obvious? You're more intelligent and so you can use your armour in a more intelligent way! :lunar2019grinningpig:

But then...why does intelligence not increase may damage, because i can use my sword in a more intelligent way! And intelligence increase my health also. And more intelligence is what we need in such game-rules...

It uses an old D&D system which I think is quite somewhat... outdated. But it's a bit different from the old D&D stat system.

Why not the old DnD 3.0 rules?

Intelligence does NOT increase AC or health in ANY version of D&D rules.

That's right.

But why is it in this game?

I stand (sit?) corrected:

From 4e rules wiki:

..."a character's Intelligence modifier or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher, will contribute to Reflex defense. If a character wears light armor, his or her Intelligence modifier or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher, also contributes to Armor Class.

I drink, and I know a few things...

"I don't like this place!", many in-game-character says.
Dark-Chummer Jul 11, 2019 @ 12:11am
But at the moment both are increase the armorclass and not only one of them.

(Sorry for my bad english).

You drink a lot, but you still know nothing :

Armor Class (AC): Your armor's effectiveness and your ability to dodge or deflect physical blows is measured by your AC. The armor you wear, the type of shield you use (if any), and possibly your Intelligence or Dexterity all contribute to this.

If you wear light armor (cloth, leather or hide), add either your Intelligence modifier or Dexterity modifier to your AC (whichever is higher).

From D&D4 Wiki lol
