Oh yeah. SO much fun. I understand making things a little more difficult, but impossible? Cmon now.
I suppose it's just my day in the barrel, eh? <lol>
Have been thinking about what I posed here and I'm not sure I've described the "difficulty" very well. Examples:
- Just now (8 Feb, 1530 est) started a puzzle with Sasha. 2 matches in (specifically 1 match of 5 red, 1 match of 4 blue), the entire board reshuffles because there are no more matches.
- Many of the puzzles in the last 3 weeks have ended something like (after 23 matches), "Aw, don't leave now. You only need $32,000 of $49,000." I'm decent, but I'm not a master puzzle solver (that's why it's fun, to me). It gets frustrating when, even when trying to plan 3-4 matches in advance, I can still only match 3 tiles for more than half of my 23 allotted moves. In the last week, this has happened more often than not (50-60% of the puzzles, or so). As a result, the frustration factor is high.
As I hope I got across, I still love the game. When the difficulty factors increase and everything I do to improve doesn't keep up with the difficulty factor (that I can't see), frustration peaks.
Example: When I was finally able to upgrade (Beauty, Charisma, Romance, Sexuality) skills to 11 ... all of a sudden my puzzle goals are in the $50-59,000 range ....and even with one girl have a -single- stat at 5, I can only get into the $50k's on a lucky puzzle (1 of 4/5).
I hope that's more clear than a user just whining about not being able to win. ;-)
Addition for today. 9 Feb:
Just got Foxy Thunder a few days ago. Her personality stats are still 0s. Why is it when I start a Date with her, that the game expects me to score between 49,000 and 56,000 with her? Answer: It's impossible.
So, I can only, reasonably, conclude that the "Date/Sex puzzle" requirements -do not- consider a girl's stats when calculating the required score thresholds.
Why?
The last two puzzles in a row: For the first 20 (of 23) moves, I only had one set of 3 tiles that I could match, at the top of the board. The rest of the board was (locked?) where only two tiles where only two tiles were selectable.
How the bleep are we supposed to be able to get 56,000ish points when only only set of 3 tiles is matchable .... 20 times in a row.
This has happened 7 times in the last 24hours. Is the random difficulty generator just screwing me, or is this an intentional design? Please guys, make it fun ... not unplayable.
Thank you.
Today, I have consistently failed 4 out of 5 dates using all three (red gem, chocolate, and rose), and can't even score 50% of the points needed to win (because I can't string together more than 3 tiles at a time).
Edit 1: Example: Hina's first date - Stats all zeroes but the score requirement is 44,570. YGBSM!
So again I repeat: Difficulty level: Psychotic.
unlocck all story related girls then pick a favorite trait. and push it to lvl 5-6
for Example: red(sexuality) then you have 3-4 girls to work with (zoe, audrey, Jessy and Pearl.)
Try to Date them until you unlocked the sexddate for all of them. Ignore dating from now.
Try to finish as many dayli-tasks as possible. their rewards help alot. (Money and items to improve your girls
build up the other traits to lvl 5-6.
in the adventure with shannon there is a point were you have to choose between 3 rooms (prom-room, bar and dinig room) stay there by choosinf the promroom. shannon want to goo to the bar. dont let her. so you create a loot and can spend adventure energy forever without progressing further in the adventure. ( helps alot with daylys).
if you have done all or most easy daylis put your rest energy into sexdates (these dont increase in score) to farm building materials. (sometimes also Eventstuff)
keep pushing you buildings as much you can. (as improvements give more items on dates.)
Improve your red girls with won items to make the puzzlegame easier.
BUT put blue umbrellas, sexy masky, books and riding crops into Aime-Sparks.
She will be our DateGirl (Best f2p Normal-Ddate Girl in Game atm)
Keep grinding until you (possibly maxed your traits, buildings red girls and Aime-Sparks.
The next step will be a hard pain,, because you have to improve shannon and Aimee-sparks with money or diamonds. Shannon is the best f2p chat-girl atm with 300% bonus costing 325K money.
(Aime 250% in Datin g with costs of 379k money.
If you earned some diamons put them into these traits. (dont buy harddisk for pictures)
they you can start farming date-rewardds for improving sex-lvl further.
"Being told hold to play a F2P game" = 100% priceless.
Some of your advice is good and I appreciate it, even if I already did but one of the things you mentioned ... as well as a few more minor tactics, to include data tracking (to specifically define which dates will get which items that (the "two" girls) need for me to max them out first.
"If you want to play pure F2P".
Ummmm, you're trying to redefine what F2P means, friend? No. Sorry. I'm not buying that line. F2P is F2P.
F2P is NOT F2P when the owners require you to buy ANYTHING at all to succeed in the game. That is called P2W. Gamers know this.
I just got Raven. I finished up finding her facts. Note: All her stats are still zero and no gifts yet.
The first time I tried to date her, the score to be successful was 61,960.
Yeah, I was able eek out 29,640 points using 23 turns. Yup. 47% of the necessary score.
Second date was successful after 22 of the 23 turns, because the required score was 38,000-something.
Dates 3, 4, 5, and 6 I got between 38% and 65% of the needed scores.
Some failures can be expected based on the random difficulty generator, but ...
