any tips on how to fight using the worthless pool noodles that are two handers
like the title says how are you supposed to hit anything with a bat that acts like a cooked noodle in your hands why is it so floppy.

Two handing weapons is very inaccurate in this game.

I think people are swinging to fast like a 5lb bat or a 10lb sledge hammer is something your supposed to be able to just sling around with ease. If you move slower I think you'll find it easier. Your VR body has to keep up with your real body and your VR body is feeling real weight and forces while your real life body isn't.

Hand placement is a big thing, hold it like you'd hold it IRL. So one hand towards the bottom of the grip and the other higher up on the neck. Make sure you aren't swinging too fast like John said, physically imagine you're holding a 10lb sledgehammer and how much strength it would take to swing it

i move slow and it spawns no hitbox for dmg
i swing too fast and it hits me and does nothing but flop
also im a blacksmith a 5 kg hammer is something you sling around with relative ease hell ive done 9 kg hammers
BUT A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BAT IS A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STICK DONT EVEN TRY TO TELL ME A BAT IS SUPPOSED TO ACT LIKE A CINDERBLOCK AT THE END OF A BROOM HANDLE

its not like im one handing the damn thing im using both hands how can someone justify not being able to hold a bat straight with both hands on it and to be able to control it semi ok
the hammer sure if you are a bit of a puss you cant swing that easily even with your main hand guiding the head right under the handle but a bat cmon now.

it pisses me off a bit since the game is really fun in the other aspects i love how they handled climbing the one handed melee is okay enough a little floppy but nowhere near as bad as the two handers.

What headset are you using? I've noticed that at least on my WMR headset, it seems like the max gripping force isn't the actual max gripping force, so my virtual hands end up slipping on things while I'm trying to climb/swing two handed weapons. I've also noticed the floppiness that you've described but not nearly as bad

https://youtu.be/lKEyyC4yj4E you can see me swinging a fireman axe in this video with ease.

https://youtu.be/lstoDB3YVpY also use the bat in this video without any trouble.

https://youtu.be/HiYBeL_scvE and the sledge hammer in this one.

sorry to hear your having trouble though. I understand what your saying about the hammer. I feel the issue is probably your disconnect between the object in game and the weightless feel outside of the game. That's just my guess. I injured my right arm in my play-through because I was swinging so hard. I was a baseball player my entire child hood and have always been able to hit home runs but that swing doesn't translate to the game because I have no actual weight in my hands, so I wound up straining my muscles.
