Is modding boneworks allowed?

Is it punishable? Do the devs mind if you mod? is there certain mods allowed and certain mods not allowed? please let me know

We just can't help you diagnose issues with your games if you go down that road. We do not officially support third party mods simply because it can and will break performance of the base game.

Would I still be allowed to or would I get punished, banned, etc. If I did decide to what would happen? I just don't want to go agenst terms of service.

Nexus and bonetome are two popular sources of mods, you can google & youtube tons of tutorials & recommendations. I recommend a vanilla playthrough first if you haven't already.

bone works doesn't really need mods i don't think except 100% because you don't have to unlock everything manually

You wouldnt get punished for using any mods. You cannot be banned from boneworks as it is a singleplayer games
