MelonLoader doesn't let me launch my game

So I've completed the game and decided to play around with some mods. This entire saturday I've wasted just to install MelonLoader. I'm sending this after my 3rd reinstallation, and MelonLoader just won't work for me. It said "Installation was successful", but I can't launch my game. Someone help!

I recommend using r2modman for installing/maaging mods, as you can play the game with or without mods with a click of a button. It's also way easier for knowing which mods you have installed, as its a mod manager. You should give it a try

I use r2modman... and NO mods load. Nothing custom at all :/

youre step above me. the game crashes if i try to run it with mods, and all i know is that it has something to do with melon loader being out of date

Verify game files and make sure all mods are up to date. Melon loader recently had an update.

Try using the Thunderstore Mod Manager. I had the same issues and this worked for me. This allows you to install Melon Loader just like r2modman but something is dofferent between the two.

Trying to play bone works but every time I go to play Play Bone works it says internal issue mod loader blah blah blah blah is not letting me in playing it so help

What version is it? For me 0.5.7 loads with no errors. (the latest version loaded the game but errored and no mods loaded)

For some reason it says "invalid unity game selected" even thought the game I am trying to mod (bonelab) is made by unity. I only get this error when I launch bonelab via steam if I launch it without steam VR it works fine but R2modman forces you to launch it via steam so I cant play with the mods I want
