I know this has probably been asked a lot but I am planning on buying the quest soon would I be able to plug the quest into my PC and use the quest for this game?

First thing, do you have a pc good enough to handle VR?

Okay. Buy the Quest 2 if it has to be of the Quest variety, though I don't recommend either. If you must, then you'll need the Oculus Link cable for the best experience.

Okay I don't have the big of a budget and I don't really want to drop 1000 on a HTC.

I highly recommend the Quest 2 if you're starting off with VR. I've been playing Boneworks wirelessly via Virtual Desktop and it's amazing. IMO any advantages other headsets have in refresh rate or resolution is washed away by wireless and inside out tracking. Coming from a Vive, the tracking quality is virtually identical (unless you need high fidelity tracking behind your back, which is super rare) and comes with the huge huge benefit of not needing ugly base stations in your play area / dealing with occlusion from them (which was much more common for me than occlusion on the Quest).

Yep that's what I am planning on getting since it starts at 299 which is quite cheap for a VR.

I play this using the quest. My pc is actually bellow the minimum but it plays fine. I find it actually runs better through virtual desktop than oculus link though.
i play using quest with an unofficial link cable with rtx 2060 and i5 9400 it works great, but personally id go with a real pc vr cos the quest is heavy as hell man, im savin for a pc headset

People are forgetting the HP reverb exists. It seems rather decent from reviews; only tried Occulus and Vives personally.
The Quest 2 is the same price...

Do you have any recommendations that aren't to far apart in price?

@TheUnstoppable I have a Quest 2 and for the low price it's pretty dank. And it works on it's own without a PC. So you can use it laying in bed. lol. It's not quite as clear as the more expensive Rift S or HP Reverb G2 but the are both more expensive. Don't work standalone. And the G2 controller tracking is dreadful.
I use the hand tracking on my Quest 2 sometimes even for like Youtube browsing and it's so great to be able to just put the headset on and do the basics with just my hands.
You won't be disappointed honestly and there's not the come close on the value it provides. And cherry on top... The wireless works really great already and it will likely only improve.

Hope this helps.
Cheers!
