Geometry Recycling?
I've spent 4 hours on this room and am completely lost. It's the one in Streets, where there are objects falling through grates and a shredder underneath.

You then also need something heavy to push and big button next to the vent and something to stand on to jump up to it once its open.

I skipped that one entirely, you can just walk to the other end and climb up the stairs from underneath. There's already a box at the other end you can use for the button, just takes a bit of creativity to use it while still holding the rope.

Just seems much harder than moving just the platform.

Yeah. But if it works, it works. I feel like this game never really wants you to solve a puzzle a given way. I have played levels where i basically skipped some of the puzzles by just climbing up and afterwards found out, that there was actually a way to push a platform there or something. You can skip most puzzles. The only puzzle i thought was really stupid was the ones with the barrels in Run-Off. If i hadn't seen the trailer where they show this, i would've probably been stuck for a while. A friend of mine even quit at that point of the level because he couldn't figure it out

True.. its what I love about the game. There are usually 3 or even 10 different solutions to most of the puzzles in the game. Once you really learned the levels well in some cases you can just climb some obscure wall and go straight to the exit. So much to explore in this game and they are adding even more to find for us.

I am trying to take a break and wait for more stuff to be added to the game before playing it some more... but I just got this itch to keep playing it :P

The one with the barrels? Huh? There is the lift puzzle, and the "very hard" one to unlock the door after dropping down. There is the one to get across to the BW box, across the moving platforms... but none of those require barrels.

There is the one with the Gravity Waste Barrels that you have to put over a hole in a gutter in the ground to invert their gravity

Did he never complete the Museum level or maybe he just did not go to the gravity well room there? There is not really that many things you can do in that area.

Oh right... I didn't even do it that way the first time...
I went to the top floor, knocked a crate off onto the "bridge" and dragged it to the far end. Climbed on crate, jumped to ledge.

That seemed like the obvious solution to me. I only did the gravity barrels afterwards...

That said... in the corridor is the grafitti for the anti-gravity effect, you know, to give you a clue.

That was my first thought too but the thing that pulls crates landed on its top and wouldnt let me use it anymore

I actually didn't go to that room either. The first time i played the museum the game glitched and froze my hand (it was the game and not the tracking, Steam VR Menu tracked just fine) right after I got to the shooting range so i got pretty pissed off and just skipped the extra stuff. The thing is, that this puzzle isn't bad on principle. It is basically the same as the Barrel puzzle during the airboat segment in HL2 but with anti gravity instead of floating barrels in water. The problem i have with it though is that this is just an outright weird puzzle in the context of the game. Sure the game messes with physics but it stays in the realm of normal physics. If this kind of puzzle was more regular it would be fine but as far as i remember (and correct me if I'm wrong) this is the only time the game uses Anti-Gravity barrels and Gravity leaks for puzzles

outside floating out of the museum, yeah.

I've gotten past it, guys. In fact, after the first 3 comments. I didn't even notice the platform that you were supposed to move so that you could walk on the grates.

Normally what i do is use one of my weapons, normally you will have a sledge hammer. that is heavy enough to get it down. After you get up just use your force powers to get your hammer back easy. Most of these physics puzzles i kinda skipped by cheesing the climbing or using a weapon that is heavy enough to push the buttons. the first time i tried that prison level, with the platforming thing at the end. I tried to get the boxes over but it was impossible. after a while of trying i legit accidentally dropped my axe on the button while putting it away after pretending to swing it. i was both really annoyed and relived that i didn't need to worry about that puzzle anymore.
