Puzzle involving moving platforms, a button, three sliders, and the reward is a box sitting where a fanblade used to be.
Anyone have advice for this one? It's optional, but I want to solve it. The three sliders don't seem to do anything that I've noticed.

The sliders affect how fast the platforms move, if they are all down, they move slower, up moves faster.

But...uh...I didn't solve this one. I...kinda just super jumped across the pit. My guess is a combination of slow platforms and slow time. You can also get them to swing if you time your button presses, so that might help too.

Here's a thing on super jumping if you want to see that..

i didnt solve it. I didnt super jump like the other guy did. I just skipped it because i was just clueless.

I couldn't figure this one out myself. I ended up grabbing 4 of those big white planks from below and building a bridge from platform to platform and finally to that middle vent. The last bit was super tricky cause those planks are not quite long enough to get a good secure platform for the end. Was able to get the prize though so that's cool.

I placed white plank on the button and loaded it with a brick, (plank by itself can't press the button). When platforms had moved to the right, I jumped to the first platform (the most comfortable spot to jump from is the railing on the platform with button and sliders, it gives you elevation needed for jump). Then I jumped through all platfroms one by one. When I reached the last one I shoot white plank with my gun, so it fell down and released the button and platforms started moving back. Finally, when I was in front of the box with secret I grabbed it with my hands and jumped down, where I broke it. That's all.

Seems like crazy one, and I figured it out only from the second time, but works fine)))

I climbed across the yellow light bar on the left wall and then got on top of the third platform. From there, I used forcegrab to get the thing

I might have solved it. I think I set their speed so that the closest one moved the fastest, the second one a bit slower and the last one the slowest, to try to make them match up as I moved across... it never got perfect though and was pretty dicey to make that last jump and grab on to the crate or the vent.

Probably is a way to place them all where it works best, but I was always bad at moving across these dangling cages. They are so jittery.

No, that's the intended way to solve it - you do need to be quick, but it's not all that hard.
You want to set it to be fastest, halfway and slowest, to give the biggest offset between the cages, and thus the easiest traversal from one side to the other.

I tried that first, but this way you cannot run across, you have to go, stop, wait, go again. Stopping did not work very well for me with the wobbly cages, so... not even really sure how I got it to work. I think I managed to just jump from the last cage to the box and grab it, even though the last cage were already at the wall.

Oh no, as I described it, you want to sprint straight across while they are returning - hitting each one as it's crossing the middle of the room, no need to stop.
I'd record a video to demonstrate, but no controllers right now.

I got my controller replacement yesterday, but have been using my Rift and Quest while I was waiting for it.

I guess maybe that is how i set it up. fastest, halfway and slowest... I am at least sure I tried this at least once, but still the cages were too wobbly for me... come to think of it, I never tried just running, I always jumped from cage to cage. That was probably the problem.

You do need a little jump between them. I invariably end up slamming into the box and having to grab on, pulling it down after me ;)
As with most puzzles, there are alternate methods - one mentioned above was grabbing the white platform pieces and making a bridge. - another is to get to the far platform, climbing up to the top, and pulling it along the rail to the other side of the room - it's heavy though, so this takes a while. You then drop down, letting it swing back, grabbing the box when you get to it.

My solution was to go to the last cage and jump from it to the box with a power jump, the one where you crouch before you jump and then grab on to the box. Took a whole lot of tries though.
