Game Stuck in Loading for Streets level
First off the short time I've had with the game is freaking awesome. But I have run into a game breaking problem early on. Not Far into the game just after the Museum when you drop into the pipe the game cuts to load to the next section but it has been getting stuck in loading or in one particularly bad case, crashed my entire system. The game runs smooth as can be and I've not had any issue with it aside from this. Well I take that back. Trying to start up at the Museum does the same thing but starting from the beginning of the game works fine all the way up to the pipe drop at the end of the Museum. Anyone else experiencing this and know what the issue might be?

It seems that I got this working. When looking at C:/Users/User/AppData/LocalLow/Stress Level Zero/BONEWORKS/output_log.txt after crash, there was line "Could not allocate memory: System out of memory!". Looks like the game is using huge amounts of virtual memory, so I manually set the virtual memory initial size to 10 GB and maximum size to 40 GB. Now it loads the Streets level.

TL;DR: Increase your virtual memory amount.

Try verifying the game integrity

Did you have the problem yesterday before the patch?

Ran into the issue both before and after the patch. Was hoping that it would fix things.
Also verified integrity all good there. Its so odd cause the game runs great, better than some other vr games I have but just won't load past this point.

I'm having the same issue. I keep getting stuck in loading screens, even just loading up the main menu. I have a i7 8700k, GTX1080ti, 16gb of ram, and a nvme ssd, so I really doubt the issue is hardware related. Hopefully they fix this soon :(

Same issue here. Tried to verify integrity, updating drivers (GPU, chipset etc), updating BIOS, uninstall&reinstall Oculus software but nothing helped so far. Oculus Rift CV1 & Touch, Ryzen 2700X, RTX 2070, ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming motherboard, 16 GB DDR4-3200.

I think I have the same issue as yours. I'm on a WMR headset so I just started the game after today's patch and I can't get pass the profile settings screen. After choosing WMR binding I can navigate through all the setting to the last 'Save Settings' button and struck there with 'THANK YOU' text.

maz's fix worked for me although streets was almost unplayable with its frame drops, I'm gonna try increasing virtual memory and see if that helps.

EDIT: It did not I'm pretty sure it's a vram issue since the minimum requirement is a 1060 although it doesn't specify between the 3gb or 6gb variants

Increased the Virtual Memory to 10000mb min 50000 max and haven't had issue with the game since. No chugging or frame drop

Hey there, how do you set the virtual memory? Thanks! I'm also stuck loading the Streets level

In windows 10, find the setting called "Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows"
go to advanced and click change. Hope this helps!
