TABG Custom Servers Beta is here!

Hey guys, a lot of players don't know but currently there is a beta test for TABG's custom servers. Currently you cannot create your own server yet, but some new gamemodes have been made available in the beta branch within the server browser.

Currently we have gamemodes such as:

• Deathmatch: A basic kills-to-win TABG gamemode where the ring is set to one of the locations on the map and constrains the play area. Players will infinitely respawn in this mode randomly (on the ground) after death and with a random loadout, depending on the theme of the Deathmatch server, currently there are 12 themed loot tables that can appear.
  
  
• Gun Game: A deathmatch variant gamemode where instead of respawning with random loadouts you go through a list (1-25) weapons from easy to kill with to hard to kill with, each kill you get will progress you to the next level of weapon.
  
  
• Scavenge: A mix of Battle Royale and Deathmatch. In this mode, the entire map is unlocked by the first ring, you will launch towards your desired destination as if you were playing Battle Royale. Suit up with whatever gear you most desire in this "looting phase", the loot you gather is what you will bring to the second ring's "arena" where you will infinitely respawn with the loot you have gathered until you reach the desired kills to win the match. In scavenge, much of the loot table has been adjusted, 1.5x normal BR item spawns, and adjusted loot tables (Rarities changed, OP blessings are disabled, and new items have been added!).
  
  
• Infection: A Halo inspired gamemode where it's Survivors vs. Infected. The Survivors try to fend off the Infected with Mossbergs and Winchesters and little ammo, ammo is given back to the survivor once they kill an Infected, and the more Infected, the more ammo drops! So spend your ammo carefully at the start, and don't shoot fellow survivors, they can only die to an Infected. Depending on the lobby size, determines the amount of Alpha zombies. They are faster and tougher than regular zombies, and once they kill you then you become a regular infected like them and help kill the remaining Survivors. Infected win by killing all remaining Survivors, and Survivors win by outlasting the Infected after a certain period of time passes.

All gamemodes have a built in "Kill to Heal" function to prevent as much third-partying as possible while keeping balance.

To get the game started type "/votestart" in game, it takes half the players in the current lobby to do so to begin a match

• To enter this code locate Totally Accurate Battlegrounds in your Steam Library
  
• Right click it and select "Properties"
  
• Locate the "Beta" tab and paste the code in there

please report any player exploiting or cheating into the discord, preferably with information and evidence of what they are doing, there are built in systems beyond the anti-cheat in these servers to remove them

they work fine just restart game or enter shooting range and leave it then retry

I can only see the test servers not the gun game 10v10 and that stuff

Same here, are the servers taking a break or something?

They are back up, I was away and the servers auto shut down for some reason

Oh man, I really wish we have a team deathmatch / conquest mode, even if really crude. I've always wanted a big 2 team mode in TABG.
Perhaps a community member could make it happen now that custom servers are up though?

8v8 is a server im sometimes able to run. It used to be 10 vs 10 but it got really laggy. It was a regular Deathmatch and Scavenge variant. To amp the teams even more it would likely have to be BR so people are killed off to reduce lag.

Does it say that it's a game in progress or that it's awaiting players?
You can't join a game that's ongoing.
