Totally Accurate Battlegrounds

UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) Crash bug.
Landfall please release a fix for this or if it can be manually fixed, if so Someone must show everyone with this bug how.
Everyone is complaining about the things in the game and I cannot even get into a game.
I have tried changing the launch options,Reinstalling, And just about everything I could find as a fix and nothing is working I have had this bug from the beginning of the game and never thought it was a problem until every match I join crashes. My fps is fine its just this bug. I don't care If I get thrown in with hackers every match or If i die every match. I just want it patched Because I love and support this game!. So if you have this problem or you just take notice of this post Please spread the word on how to fix or help get the attention of someone who can. Thank you for Reading:)

Hello! That usually happens when your anti-virus won't let you launch the game, please create an exception.

As for the crashes, please send us the crash logs to support@landfall.se so that we can take a look :)

Thank you so much for the recomendation It worked!!! I will post a fix on this bug for all to see.
I've added both UnityPlayer.dll and TotallyAccurateBattlegrounds.exe to exceptions in Windows Defender, and it still crashes before I can even get into a game.

I've also set TotallyAccurateBattlegrounds.exe to run as Administrator.

Yup it happened to me aswell I thought it was fixed but its not I tried sending the files to the devs but it keeps taking me back to the web site instead of a email I can send it to. So since then I have just given up on this game.
Do you have Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace installed? Try uninstalling them if you do. I had the same issue and it was affecting all games that used the UnityPlayer.dll.

It seems that Citrix has now solved the problem (at least version 1909 has)

Then again...what is it with Citrix and the UnityPlayer.dll ?!
It's not just citrix and unity player. I bought an app called Duet which used the iPad as a second monitor and it made my DirectX and OpenGL fail. Not what you want on a gaming machine!

Whilst both issues have different issues, they both have the same cause. Virtual Display drivers!!!

My hypothosis is that either it tries to load the game on the virtual display which is not designed to take inputs like that. Or it scans the displays and finds that the displays are not compatible with the game, the latter being my most favoured theory.

They also all have the same solution, uninstall programs that use virtual display drivers if you experience issues.

Thank you!! i was going crazy trying to figure out this and it was citrix workspace, hope I can still remote into work now :)
