UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) Crash bug.
Landfall please release a fix for this or if it can be manually fixed, if so Someone must show everyone with this bug how.
Everyone is complaining about the things in the game and I cannot even get into a game.
I have tried changing the launch options,Reinstalling, And just about everything I could find as a fix and nothing is working I have had this bug from the beginning of the game and never thought it was a problem until every match I join crashes. My fps is fine its just this bug. I don't care If I get thrown in with hackers every match or If i die every match. I just want it patched Because I love and support this game!. So if you have this problem or you just take notice of this post Please spread the word on how to fix or help get the attention of someone who can. Thank you for Reading:)

Had this problem with 7Days to Die. You are my hero man !!

I took a 5 days leave to play, missed 2 already but I will make the best out of the rest. May you go to heaven JetMorris

Citrix Workspace was the problem for me...
It was causing all my VR (Vive) Games to fail to launch.
Guess I'll have to reinstall if I want to work from home :-)

Thank you for the solution here, i was having the same problem with The Room Three, and uninstalling Citrix Workspace fixed it! I do need it for work however so i might have to see if i can just disable the virtual display instead..

Mark let me know how you get on with that, there are a lot of people in here that need this for work, if disabling the display works that would be good to know.

I'm trying to play Green Hell and cannot play. Hit the PLAY button in Steam and game just crashes with following error in error log:

UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module UnityPlayer.dll at 0033:cd22778e.

Error occurred at 2019-09-02_130744.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Green Hell\GH.exe
Read from location 0000000e caused an access violation.

I really can't uninstall Citrix because I use it to remote into work. Any other suggestions for solution?

ABSOLUTE LEGEND YOU ARE. Hollow Knight would not run for weeks, tried everything, finally stumbled upon your post, uninstalled Citrix Workspace and boom that ♥♥♥♥ finally ran.

I know this is almost a year later, but I was having a similar issue with games that require Unityplayer.dll playing after installing Citrix Workspace 1904 for my job. When I uninstalled that version, the unity based games that would crash at launch would finally load as normal. I rebooted my laptop, then I installed the latest version of Citrix Workspace, which is version 1909. The problematic games will load fine now and I can work from home too. Just wanted to throw this out there, since this discussion helped me with a few games that had a problem launching.

I’d be interested to know if anybody else can confirm this. If that version solves the problem it will help to update the post.

Just updated from Citrix 1904 to 1909 and the issue disappeared.

Thank you buddy! I don't know how you did the troubleshoot to find out the problem but I'm glad you did!!!

It would be nice if the OP edit his original post and add the fix to it.
