Lag/Desync Vs Hacking in TABG (Developer Please Read)
Ever suddenly got killed in place with no people? Or perhaps inside a building, you know this, just somewhere where it wasn't possible you got killed?

This is not the person that killed you hacking, it is simply server lag/desync.

For example let me tell you what the other person is most likely seeing.

They are seeing your character, walking in place changing your weapons, but for them once again, you are just in one spot, running and jumping?

Why is this?

I certaintly am not a developer or anything of the kind but I can guess this is coming from the server providing you with the wrong information after you have rendered (The game has drawn the character so you can see him) and has not provided you with any more information other than what they are wearing and the actions they are doing. So they are stuck in place for you, but actually they may be three houses away on a rooftop looting.

This is basically what would happen in a human conversation.

Server: Hey this guy is here, let me show you! (Renders the character)

Player: Ok thanks! Where is he now?

Server: He has 1 pistol, a shield and is currently jumping.

Player: Ok where is he?

Server: He now has an AK and is prone.

Player: (You see him walking in place and kill him) Hey I killed the guy!

Server: Ok cool!

The server accepts that you shot him as the player is sending that inforamtion to the server.

This was all a little dumbed down but I hope it will help!|

EDIT: There will of course be hackers as this game has very little anti-cheating measures, but if the conditions somewhat match the above, please take into consideration it might just be lag!

Correct. Killed so many people just running without actually going anywhere. Their loot spawns away from them too.

Hi, yes it's correct some deaths are due to desync rather than hacking, We're working on it :)
