Report a translation problem
Look at it this way:
If you see there are only 10 people online, you'll probably instantly close the game at the menu screen. If everybody does that, the count won't go up. If nobody knows how many people are online, they will probably try to at least join a game and alt+tab for a bit.
It would probably be more helpful to just close all the non USA-West servers though, at least until the player base recovers.
Maybe this is just me, but the entire appeal of a battle royale game is I can jump in, play 1 or 2 games, and never have to spend more than 2 minutes total in a waiting lobby/queue.
