Whats wrong with nowdays games?
Flynn and Freckles, list of features:
- 17 fps, overall lagging more than Risen 3, which is also a game about pirates;
- Protagonist is a pirate, but he cant swim or touch water near shore;
- Your first enemy is living onion (in pirates themed game, yeah);
- You do not automaticly magnetising coins to yourslef - pick them up manualy;
- 0,3 secs delay before your jump actually happens;
- No way to change resolution or turn off bloom / shadows;
- Horrible graphics and design, like this is some sort of browser game from 2000;
- No tutorial;
- There is a skip button to skip cutscenes, but no mouse cursor to click a button during cutscenes;
- All of the above was my experience of first 5 minutes of playing. Imagine how wonderful it becomes after few hours of joy.

Good job.

Wow yeah because that's so real like, 90% of platformers are like that, just picking up stuff yourself.

Were you even born in 2000? This would have looked pretty amazing for a 2000 browser game, maybe it's perhaps more intended to look like a retroish Nintendo 64 style game?

As to some technical issues, give the dev(s) a break, the game just got released 1 day, perhaps instead of coming across cynical, try politeness and hope we got a dev that's on top of his game and help it in creating a good decent platformer.

Ah, but you are defending a game that, by your own words, should still be in EA, It's no excuse that the game has only just been released, it should be polished, not the awful mess it is, and don't forget you cannot even re-map the key! Not everyone uses or can use WASD, I certainly can't. You should stop defending a dev for releasing a half finished game, it's comments such as your that convince lazy devs they can charge good money for inferior products. You would not buy a car without wheels, or a house without a roof, so why would we buy an incomplete game?

Well, Lugum got some points, even if i disagree on the graphics part. It's not essential in an indie dev and I like this cartoon style.

BUT, the others points are valid. This is NOT a finished game.

PLUS :
- too many bugs
- where are my double jump and spin attack ? don't show them in command if you unlock them later.
- the jump delay is awful
- 15€ is way too expensive for this game

the typical millenial, Wanting everything and wanting it for nothing at the same time. If the devs are good they will patch the game. who gives a ♥♥♥♥ if its ea or not as long as its cared for which the devs had said they would do. Graphics? yea because thats what makes a good game.....(sarcasm) lol magnetizing coins haha more games make you pick up coins then have them just jump to you. ill eagerly sit here and wait for your game so that i can rip on technical issues on the first day
