Is Steven Universe canon to "Half life" lore?
if so, does that mean the Combine is actually Homeworld? It kinda makes sense since both empires desire the same thing: conquering and stealing resources from other planets. surprisingly, both empires were stopped from a rebellion and BOTH unleashed a "blast" as a desperate attempt to stop the rebellion. Couple differences are that there are no Gems present but only modified human soldiers, the Combine blast didn't really stop the rebellion and synths and we only explore eastern Europe (no gem colonies were built there).

But what about the 7-hour war? Well, we can say Homeworld sent out their "experimental geo weapons" to hide their true self when evading Earth. The primitive humans from later episodes? They did look primitive. Though, who to say they were actually primitive? We don't have any evidence that there are any outposts the Combine construct in America. But, we do know the Homeworld structures locations. No evidence of gems? They were out building temples and kindergartens. The 1000 year war? The longest war we had was 781 years. So it makes sense if the rebellion could last a thousand. What about our favorite character, Breen!? Obviously, a decoy human leader to cover the real leader (Pink Diamond).

In theory, does this mean Steven Universe is actually the aftermath of Half-life? If this were the case, no wonder Valve hasn't made a sequel. Valve made a deal with Rebecca Sugar/Cartoon Network to continue the series.

I would include some more examples but I got tired from writing this.

"We don’t get involved in issues of canonicity. You might say that canon itself is non-canon. So, no official stance, there’s just the games." - Marc Laidlaw
