how does character mods work

I downloaded some mods, I used them on settings but i dont see anything while im playing, how does it works?

did you download them through steam workshop? if so they should automatically apply in the mods tab of the game

I did and I added them in the game mod setting, but when I start the game I dont see any of the mods.

what kind of mods did you download? if its for idols you might need to do a few pulls depending on the amount of characters you got since the base game idols cant be removed

idols, so is it by luck?
