Idols dating

Is there a way to turn off idols from dating each other? I forbid dating in the policy but they still date... A LOT either with each other or others whatever. It just feels like there is no point in picking the forbid policy thing. I know you can break them up but it's so annoying when my two idols date each other and then they break up, lose 30 mental stamina AND THEN GET BACK TOGETHER JUST TO BREAK UP AGAIN. It's so annoying. How to turn it off altogether?

I don't think there's a way at present, but someone may mod it in the future. For right now, you may have to consider outright firing idols who are being too problematic. Heaven knows most companies would in real life. I can't imagine too many producers putting up with two girls continually breaking policy after being explicitly warned about it.

Mine is bugged, and they will never break up even if I tell them to and they say they will. They are still dating. Had to edit the save file to make them all straight.

You could also try hunting for idols with the asexual skill. They have saved me a lot of headaches.

I don't think the dating policy affects idol x idol dating, but lowers the chances of idols dating other people outside the group.

Most likely. I don't think closeness between idols has ever been a problem for fans, so it's really only dating outside the circle that most agencies bar. (Not that idols are prone to dating women, historically speaking.) It would make sense if that's why the mechanic isn't applying in-house.
