How to decrease Scandal Points

Is there any way to keep the idol but remove the scandal points instead of just graduation?

This, I hire a prof worker who costs 3 to fire and keep them around until i can burn the scandal points.

Honestly though, it's best to avoid Scandal Points at all costs.

One of the intended ways, yes.
Other than that you can fire the idol in question (make her graduate), or you can change group policies. Those two are typically the least desirable solutions though, so firing staff is the easiest, especially if you only have 1 or 2 scandal points.

In the later game when you have so much money having staff just saved for possible scandals seems to be the best way to handle the hit. It feels bit gamey but that's how it's intended so lol. I wish there's some system in place where the scandal points could be removed all together or be multiplied. Like having a radio/tv/internet show that the scandalized girl appear either backfiring so she becomes even less desirable or it works entirely to her benefit where she becomes scandal free essentially.

I instead flip a policy that affects me the least back and forth on cooldown. It's slow, but it works unless you're getting a lot of scandal points.
