NSWF has never been officially and formally removed from Idol Manager. What did happen, though, was the sudden removal of the R18 content checkbox from the latest beta build of the game, meaning players were unable to turn on the sexual content for their playthroughs. That doesn't mean Idol Manager won't feature said content at launch, though. They might just be looking at other ways of implementing the NSFW CGs and text in a different way and decided to only temporarily remove it from the beta. They haven't said anything about that as far as I'm aware, so until they make any official announcements, you can expect NSFW content to make its way into the game either officially, or via modding.

Read the latest news post on their kickstarter. They specifically said the goal was never R18+ as in nudity content. It was only ever going to be 17+, basically implied nudity/sexual content. Which is techinically what "mature" rating in games covers. So there will be no nudity or sexual scenes. Only implied(such as foggy/fade to black after some raunchy kissing) type scenes. Otherwise the game would be rated as Adult instead of mature.

TLDR: They never planned to add nude scenes. Only scenes that implied as to that was happening to keep the ESRB age rating down to Mature, instead of Adult. There will be no off steam DLC/patch for it either because it does not exist.

Sounds fishy. How the heck do you not plan something and then end up doing it and then removing, blaming ratings? Also nudity and sex does not necessary make game AO, see Witcher etc.

There was never any to begin with tho? Everyone just assumed there was because there was a setting at one point that implied it. But guess what that setting is still in the game. It basically turns off the romance endings, so you don't see the slightly raunchy scenes. People just assumed ohhh that must mean there's sex scenes! Also Witcher is rated M because it never actually shows the sex, it's implied it fades to black everytime before they get to it. Most we see is raunchy kissing and some boob. Which is exactly what I was talking about for this game, sorry for not being more clear.

I posted this because the sexual content tag was removed from the game's offitla store page.

Take any tags you see on steam with a grain of salt. Allot of them are user generated, not always put there by the developers. There are a ton of games on here that have allot of misleading tags sadly.

believe me when I say I know . Some tags are user generated, but you can see though the foul disguise once you go to the game home page in steam. All the useless tags are removed. One example is Sword Art Online's tag of sexual content. Their is no SC, but Steam users post bs tags that shouldn't be there. Their is a way to see the real tags from the Steam user tags. I undoubtedly see sexual content in this game, but it was removed.

Second, the game still looks awesome and the AO classification blocks it from a potentially sizable chunk of customers who are either too young to see those listings, or block them for whatever reason.

I guess what I'm saying is, either embrace the AO and give us pervs what we want or do yourselves a favor and get out from behind the blockade and reach a bigger audience. The game looks too good to be allowed to get blocked for no reason.
