Legends and Legend teams

Exactly how are they incorporated into the game. Can you add legends to your team ? Can you play as a legends team in season, or is this just a useless "Play Now" addition ?

There are 2 of these teams for each league, A Legends team and a Classics team. It doesn't appear that you can play with them in franchise/season mode. There are also AS teams, and likewise they cant be used in that mode either.

You can sign any of them as free agents in franchise mode. From the free agents screen use RT or LT to scroll between the different Legends, Classic, and normal free agents.
