Item stuck in drying rack, drying rack cannot be deconstructed
A dried fish is stuck in the top slot of one of my drying racks, preventing this slot from being used to dry items. I tried to deconstruct the rack and replace it, but it would not deconstruct.

Had the same issue. I think it happened when I set the rack to wood while there was still a dried fish on it. Then it became inert (can't deconstruct/use/deactivate/reset).

I too have this bug. For me it's a middle slot and it contains dried wood in it. But I cannot empty it, change production or dismantle.

I had it happen again and I just noticed that I also have a buggy container in the vicinity (although it's functional) that's just impossible to deconstruct because there's one item in it that can't be removed (and I'm pretty sure it's the one dry fish/wood that causes the dryer to stop functioning, as the game sees the item in two buildings at the same time).

Yep, I have two dry racks stuck like this: one has a dried fish in it, one has one dry wood. Drifters refuse to clear those items and refuse to deconstruct.

Could you send me your save file and logs as outlined here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/821250/discussions/3/1630790506915998531/

Thanks!

Are these bugs still occurring? I quit playing back when this happened since my solar still also got bugged. I haven't read of this particular bug being quashed but I may have missed it or they may have fixed it when fixing something else.

Not yet, we're working on it at the moment.
