Some Important Feedback on the Pollution mechanics.
Hate to say it, but they are pointless and add nothing to the game except the need to add a few workstations to clean the fish. It's not like the pollution level in items will stop the player making them or using them as he would as needed, nor alter his behaviour in any way whatsoever, and the resulting illness has little impact on the town.

After 5 mins on a brand new save with the new pollution patch, and after figuring out how the supply chains worked from polluted -> clean -> cooked fish, that was it, the mechanic might as well not be there. I found I completely ignored pollution for the rest of the play through. It had zero impact on my play. Didn't even notice nor care.

So, devs, unless you are going somewhere further with this idea. It's a complete waste of time. Sorry.

The only impact pollution has had for me is making it a good idea to have at least 2 days food and water stored so that in the very rare times my drifters are sick there is enough food and water to get them to the next day. It's a minor annoyance at most.
The more complicated food chain has more of an impact in food planning, but not a big increase in the problem of starving or getting to end game.
