where are books?

The research tab says you find books on islands but ive been to upwards of 10 ish islands without seeing a single book anywhere on any island i could even see and im kind of running into a bottleneck of not having enough upper tier things as i have found literally no books

am i missing them somewhere or am i just getting unlucky?

how to research with no books?

it costs the plastic product, just make sure your research station is connected to power because it uses a lot to research (eels = power)

No books. You get 1 research point every plastic floater you build. The game just didn't get updated to properly tell you this information yet.

um books are still a thing? in intact book stores, i see no where that floaters give research

Do you like necroposting? When I posted that, it was correct. Whether or not it is correct now, I can't say. The early access has changed a lot repeatedly over it's course. Necroing old threads to correct someone to make yourself feel big and mighty over old information being wrong after several new updates is just plain silly.
