the only episode that works for me is "The Temple Of Sammun-Mak"
Generic Crash on startup
*By right clicking the game and DISABLING the steam overlay you should be able to play (the game was ported to steam and they never fixed the overlay issues). This ALSO works if you experience crashes when trying to change the resolution from fullscreen to windowed or adjusting sounds; tabbing out etc etc
*Run the game as administrator in Windows VISTA compatibility mode
*Edit the Prefs.prop with an app like notepad++ and change "window0"to "window1"
Resolution/audio Crashes
*Disable the Steam overlay (Right click the game in your steam library and untick the box in the General tab
1. Right click the game in your library, go into properties and set launch options, add "-windowed" without quotation marks and try to start the game. At this point nothing happened for me, it won't start at all, but if you go into prefs.prop now you will find windowed0.
2. Change windowed0 to windowed1. The game still won't launch after this, but:
3. Remove "-windowed" from the launch options.
4. Start the game, it should work.
The real issue here seems to be that the game won't launch in full screen, but it wants to start in fullscreen and won't edit the prefs.prop to add the option to edit until the game has launched. Episode 101 and 201 (the ones I have checked so far) already have windowed0 in the prefs.prop to start with and can be edited, but apparently not this one. Adding the launch option "-windowed" doesn't seem to want to launch the game, but adds lines into the file for some reason.
Steam overlay has no effect for me and the game works fine with it in windowed mode, turning it off changes nothing about full screen mode though.
So I am seeing, unfortunately... :/
