Well, I still may not get the chance if the game pulls an Epic Store exclusivity thing, as some have suggested it might. I *might* have a biblical meltdown if that turns out to be true.
I first heard about the game from an old LP from somethingawful.
Many games have supposedly been coming to Steam, had Steam store pages, and in at least one case even had pre-orders open and was two weeks away from release, yet still they became one year EGS exclusives.
The specific concern with Metal Wolf Chaos XD is that Observation, another game published by Devolver Digital, was set to come to Steam before becoming an Epic exclusive and having its Steam page delisted.
People are naturally worried about other Devolver published games doing the same thing as a result.
On the other hand, Japanese developed games don't seem to be going Epic exclusive as far as I can tell (yet), and with Observation I get the impression going Epic exclusive was the developer's decision and Devolver merely honored that.
I don't want to derail the thread into this subject, though.
