those joining for the free weekend, this game is IMMENSE fun. it had success it just had low replayability after the first month. theyve updated it quite a bit sense tho

I wished the heat system was a thing on release, maybe then the game could have kept more players, i just saw a VoD of a older version of the game where hans was just going around killing every guard and civ with no penalty while trying to find a larcin that just stole his ♥♥♥♥

ALSO, big change i noticed when i came back to this game is the instant cover regen when you pickup a dead players supply, thats REALLY good and helps escaping/blending in almost imeddiatly

no wonder people kept saying "people play this like its CoD"

Its launch had players but it failed to keep interest. There have been how many sales and free weekends at this point? It still looses them.

Meh...Overall, I'm not convinced to continue if it's not F2P and maybe not even then. It's not a BAD game, but it's nothing special either. It's trying to be too many things at once and doing none of them better than the competition. Heck, The Ship released almost 20 years ago (uff, right in the age) plays better overall.

you say that but THE SHIP is also dead and ALSO costs money

I don't see a difference here. This game is also dead (aside from a small burst on free weekends) and costs MORE money. Your point?

I'm not saying ANYONE should buy and play a 20 year old game, but for a newly released game, it shouldn't even be a thought. THAT's my point. A 20 year old game shouldn't do anything better.

The Ship has solo mode, bots, and can be played offline which lines up with the primary complaints of this game that I'm seeing in the most recent discussions here.

You can ignore any comment you wish, free will is wild! Off the top of my hat, The Finals is probably THE closest primary competition looking at all each game has going for it. Deceive Inc. has 0.5% of the 30-day average player count on Steam alone.

I'd argue Deceive Inc. is also trying to attract Valorant, Fortnite, and Apex players in some degree but obviously it's unrealistic to expect that sort of player count. But you don't make a Battle Royal game and not consider Battle Royal games competition. Beyond that, literally any BR/Arena/Class shooter out there. I'm not going to create a CSV for you listing them all. Search by tag is free for you on your own.

I'm not interested in convincing anyone not to like it though, just speaking on my own experience. Disagree all you want but I'm out. GLHF, and see you in game for the rest of the day maybe. No interest in arguing and not subscribing to thread.

The optimization is very bad. I only get 100-150 fps which is very annoying and laggy because I use a 240Hz display. I really hope they fix the fps issues and make the game F2P

It really does have a big difference going from 60Hz display to 240Hz. So, having 100-150 fps is "laggy" since it's not the full 240Hz experience.
