For those new to shooters
The main differences why you lose fire fights with the lvl 500s is simple. There is no trick to it. You aren't being cheated. This game has a punishing combat system and makes it too easy for those who already have the skills. But here let me help you build up some of those skills. Mind you I am not a god at cod or anything, but I do ok.

DPI. Use it. You have aim down sights, and hip fire (usually), but you can actually download software to keybind a dpi change if you want. My mouse has a dpi button built in, many do. This allows you to go from high dpi for quick moving, fleeing, chasing, or looting to a low dpi for careful aiming, to aim down sights for an even lower dpi.

The lowest you want your dpi, aka your aim down sights setting and secondly your lowest dpi for hipfire, should be set to where you routinely get headshots. Again, there is no trick or magic to it. Each gun in game is different, and each monitor can also be different. I don't have the best monitor for fps gaming so I can only tell you that something with mid refresh rate is still ok. You simply have to change your dpi in the lobby. Practice against the other agents in queue, sight in your dpi but trying to get consistent head shots while they move and while you are moving. Yes crab dancing back and forth is a very useful ability to practice while keeping your aim on target. If your DPI is set correctly you should be able to match the movement of the enemy easily. If they move and suddenly you cant see them anymore, your settings are too low. If you move your mouse and suddenly you arent on headshot anymore, your settings are too high. Find that balance that once you click on their head, they wont easily be able to get away.

You also want the ability to swap to a high dpi because keeping a low dpi at all times would not work for movement, and you actually need a variety of dpi settings to mimic NPC walking better. stairs, corners, and other areas cause the npcs to turn quickly, so you have to as well. Always walk like a "tank", NPCs rarely make instant about face turns, they almost always walk forward walk turning like a tank.

Keep in mind each gun has a different ADS reticle so some are easier than others to use. Personally I rarely use ADS in this game because of the low recoils, but I've seen plenty of people who do. Its very possible to use ADS for fighting and hip fire for movement. Get used to one style and practice it.

Keep range falloff in mind too, many guns now do horrible damage at range, so make sure you are close enough. Range can turn a great gun into a baby water pistol. When setting your DPI make sure you at optimal range, use the training dummys to learn that range, and that way if you fight at the ideal range you are set up right and if you are out of range well it doesnt matter how accurate you are if your damage is severely lowered due to range.

Now that you can get headshots on a moving target going left and right while you are strafing left and right, try against running targets and try not using your mouse as much to aim but rather let your movements align your reticle with the enemy and only use your mouse for very minor low dps movements. When you move yourself to get a line of fire on the enemy, it can look like your reticle sticks right to them, well thats just because you are making the same movements as them. When they go left you go left, etc. Mixing that up with some other movements is what you have to learn to even really start winning gun fights. This is basic stuff in any fps game. Use your crouch and jump to hide your head, but also to change your aim, and use your mouse to compensate for those movement (since there is no "sensitivity options" on how much you move when you press wasd keys or crouch/jump. You just have to memorize that. Yes the enemy can make unexpected movements, that why I say this is the basic lesson. You have to be able to at least perform against a target making expected movements before you can expect to get kills against trickier opponents.

Never take a neutral engagement either. Unless you are some kind of god, you probably will end up trading with the other agent and then it is game over for you. A huge mistake new players make is instantly shooting when they see someone. Remember, in the first 2 phases of the game there are likely going to be 5+ agents left alive and they could ALL be within hearing distance of your fight. You are much more likely to get 3rd partied than you are to get away with open aggression, or else you might end up fighting more than one opponent.

Always use movement to try to circle around the enemy, locate additional enemies, and ensure you have all paths of egress available to you. That means keycards, unlocked doors, and gadgets if you have them as well as expertise. If you need to wait an extra minute to recharge an expertise, do it, you will be way safer leaving the protection of a closed room than if you just run around not ready for an engagement. You can bet your enemy isn't making that mistake. Having full hp, hp upgrades, food or social healing upgrades, and healing vials are all pretty smart to have if you are going to start opening up the gun fights.
In phase 3 you might THINK you are alone, but there is a very good chance that there are still a lot of enemies alive. If you don't have the briefcase, you are in big trouble. Get that payload asap and find out how many enemies are left. That is the only way to make sure that you aren't 3rd partied at the last second after you manage to kill the person with the payload.

Lastly, don't get mad. Get good. Dying happens. Its a game with 10 person lobbies, you have about a 1/10 chance of victory at the very start. Winning more than 10% of your games is great! If you die, remember 3rd partying happens, 4th partying and even 5 or 6 man pile ups can be common. Never assume you are safe unless you can prove it. Dont get mad when someone out shoots you, there can be so many factors why they might have won including desynch. Getting upset and calling everyone else a cheater only makes the game less enjoyable for you, you start seeing "cheaters" everywhere. If someone is cheesing and slaughtering whole lobbies, it might or might not be cheating, but it is probably just someone who plays a lot of shooters who likes deceive because of how easy it is to abuse its mechanics. They aren't necessarily cheating, but they know what they are doing, cheesing against new players is especially lame, and it is nothing to be proud of as this game is simply very unforgiving in its gun play, ttk is really fast, and with no respawn you might be lobby sitting for a while. You can stop playing with those people. Change serves, block them, play when they aren't online, or just ignore them and practice. You need to practice this game to get consistent wins. If someone is cheesing, I just feel sorry for that person, because of the few stream god cod players I've seen actually behaving like this, I just know that they are few in number but they are also killable, and they are just (i don't want to say sad or not having fun but...) they have their reasons to basically be playing a kids version of a better shooter but taking it as seriously as they were in some kind of tournament for a competitive shooter. Don't just give up, take it as a challenge to fight against someone using strats that break the game, and if you can manage to even get them at low HP that means you will be ever stronger the next time you fight a real opponent. One fight is nothing, beating a 2v1 that tries to third party you is so common that it is basically a required skill. If you can barely kill 1 person at a time, you need to change your settings or your mindset and play more carefully. People 3rd party in this game because its an ez win. You should be doing it too and take advantage of when people are weak. That is the way you get an easy end game.

I get that this is fur da newbiez, but I didn't know it was possible to stretch "point and shoot like in any other FPS (not mentioning the fact that full auto has no recoil LOL) and use the half of your brain to blend in" to over 1500 words

If you have to make a massive post saying why you lose to lv 500 isn't cheaters.. It comes across as pure cope..

"Please stay and suffer to the cheaters.. Let me brainwash you into believing it's not cheaters...."

By looking at the player numbers after the free weekend, the cheaters have drove away any potential new players to the game..

Good Job guys..

This post is just cope and a desperate attempt to keep whatever remains of the food supply around.
