What is hitlag %chance for?
I was wondering what is this setting affecting to. By default is set at 40%.

Thank you in advance.

on hit, how liekly it is that the game will "hold" for effect. Its an effect many games do to make attacks feel more powerfull by "freezing" time for a split second.

So is the hitstun chance? But it will not be always "held", correct? Apologies if the questions might be dumb but English is not my birth(?) language.

Yeah its hitstun, if its put to 100% all hits will cause it, if 0% it will never happen.

Thank you.
I will mess around with that setting to find an even more fun, to me, experience ^_^

hitlag = freezing the screen on hit, gives weight like developer said
it does not apply hitstun in the conventinal sense of hitstun stunning enemy (preventing them from attacking).
I turned it up to 100% and it's fun

i dont get it. so does it affect gameplay by hitstun or is it just pure cosmetic?

its gameplay feel, some call it hitstop, you see it in hack and slash, character action and fighting games.

the game "freezes up" for a split second, some like it some hate it.
