But they won't be listed in steam library
Again, they are not included as "games" in steam library, you have to launch them through the remasters' launcher. (like a DRM free game)
I have found this Article, from the Developers of the Remasters:

where it states: "If you already own the originals you can still access them in your Steam Library, even though the episodes have been removed from individual sale."
in the "What about the original releases?" section.
So I guess the DLC and the Originals exist simultaneously in your Library.
