Works just fine on vive, wish it worked on my pimax tho.

You close the hand by pressing the grip button and by changing how you position/turn the controller it changes the gesture shown by the ingame hands.
Controller held upright with back of the virtual hand forwards makes it give thumbs, reaching out forward makes the hand point.
I think leaning the virtual hand backwards from the "thumbs up" position makes it give the 'shaka/"hang loose".
No idea if the finger tracking of the oculus touch controllers actually go in the game, never tried the cv1.
