Finger Movement on Vive?
I suppose the lack of buttons on the Vive controllers make finger movements non-transferrable?
(Hell considering that, is this game even playable with Vibe controls?)

No confusion, regular basic vive wands with the double sided grip buttons, touchpads, menu- and system buttons.

You close the hand by pressing the grip button and by changing how you position/turn the controller it changes the gesture shown by the ingame hands.

Controller held upright with back of the virtual hand forwards makes it give thumbs, reaching out forward makes the hand point.
I think leaning the virtual hand backwards from the "thumbs up" position makes it give the 'shaka/"hang loose".

No idea if the finger tracking of the oculus touch controllers actually go in the game, never tried the cv1.

The hands are actuated by the grip buttons on the vive wands and dependent on hand position, thumbs up by showing the back of the gripped hand towards your front, pistol hand if pointing forwards, cant recall the others.

Works just fine on vive, wish it worked on my pimax tho.

You mean the Vive... err, wands have pressure sensors on their grips? I never noticed that...

Aren't we confusing anything? I'm referring to the good ol basic HTC vive controllers. A button, B button, touch pad, etc.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Hey guys, touch controller was the key for me. I could not get a good feel using vive, so I switched up and haven't moved back. I'll be playing with the rift, mainly due to the controllers being awesome of course...
