It'll probably still crash if you continue, but if you load it up again from that save, it should work. I haven't made it far enough to experience any further crashes yet, but they'll probably also have some kind of "trick" to get around them until we get a patch.
If I knew where the save files are located, I could provide a save from just after the 1st crash
ah thanks. here's the save right after the first crash then: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IFojHkeTDMxd41dDvnEUauEtgAqUj3ul/view?usp=sharing
load the 3rd save slot, and it should work
If I get through it eventually, I'll share the save after that crash as well. Unless someone else who's already gotten past that part is nice enough to do it.
I know, I'll have to wait at least one month but I want to get the whole experience.

Try win10 sandbox or win7's XP mode...(Idk if use this will work or not)
In my case, there is 2 crash, one after he says Mayuri, that's like the 1st one, and right after, the shot where he is running, that I can't seem to pass with this technique (and also, if I'm in full screen), it crashes my PC too...
And since I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad with computers, I can't even try to switch to my dedicated thing or whatever it is, even if I don't have an AMD :^)
I did notice that instead of a straight green-flicker CTD like I was getting, the game would flicker green and then freeze on the scene after the video should play, displaying a crash message this time, while in compatibility mode for Windows XP. I found this curious, like it either helped or exacerbated the issue, but a crash is still a crash either way.
If it's AMD, you're probably ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If there's an Intel one in there, that means you have two and your PC might be defaulting to the Intel one. If it's NVIDIA or GeForce or whatever else, you can likely fix your problem by going to your NVIDIA control panel and forcing S;G Elite to run with your NVIDIA driver instead of your integrated one.
Yeah it's a pain in the ass, but you should at least know which graphics card you're using before you decide to straight give up on the issue.
