Is this exactly the same of Steins;gate but with animations?

While it is a bit of a shame that we don't get to see Faris out smarting 4C, I don't mind it too much since I never liked 4C so it isn't really that much of a loss.

Except the animations are awful and 90% comprised of still shots with lip sync or 2 second loops. The anime was never known for its high production values to begin with, and Elite looks even worse.

well, the full fifty minutes routes are mostly the 2 minutes on pachinko scene but inflated with text so more or less it's the same.

sg elite is best for those who only watched the anime and want more of it. if you read/watched both the only new thing you get are the 5 hours of extra animated routes (and this makes sense only if you are ok with anime artstyle).

but overall it's a good deal if you want to support the devs or if you want to read lbp, which are the 2 main reason i'm buying this day one

for an individual that do not replays and want to experience steins gate and you know it will be the first and last time, seems like original would be better

Elite isn't worth the full price. If you want to support the Science Adventure series. Buy Chaos;Child. It's cheaper and better than Elite.
