Thanks for the reply, but it's not windowed. It's full screen, and I set it to my monitors highest screen res. , but it shows black bars at the side and acts like its 1368x1600 i.e Only half of health bar shows, but it doesn't.
Thanks alot, this helped!
Are you using an AMD card? If so, this is a permament fix that I used:
What I did was to create a custom HDTV format in Catalyst Control Center.
1. Right-click on the desktop and select the Catalyst Control Center.
2. Once in, go to My Digital Flat Panels
3. Select HDTV Support
4. On the top section, put a check next to the proper HD res and refresh for your monitor. For me, it was 1080p60 (NTSC)
5. On the bottom section, select the resolution you want to tweak. For me, it was 1080p60 standard (1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz). Click the Add button.
6. This brings up a screen which allows you to create custom resolutions. The arrows at the middle of the screen allow you to add and subtract from the standard resolution...I just clicked the vertical arrows (the ones pointing towards each other) and reduced the vertical resolution to 1076...thus losing two lines of pixles on the top and the bottom of the screen. Click Accept.
7. This brings you back to the Catalyst Control Center. You should now see your new resolution listed with the others in the bottom column. Click on the Apply button at the bottom right of the screen and then exit the Control Center.
8. Start the game up and in the Graphics options you should now see your custom resolution. Select it, and if the Gods are with you, you'll have a full screen display with no black border...
Why you should have to go through all this BS is a whole 'nother story. Suffice it to say that PC games seem to get the ***-end of the deal nowadays.
Good luck!
Thanks alot man, this is a great fix. Developers really need to read through the forums and patch problems.
Correct the refresh rate and you should get rid of this problem.
