Is this first person mod for real?

I just started playing JC2 for the first time and thought it would be amazing to play it in first person. Lo and behold this mod is like one of three for the game at Nexus. Is this thing for real? Does it work without any serious issues? Most importantly, should I do first person on my first run through the game?

Looks cool.. I'll have to check it out some time.

I wouldn't, however, use it on your first run of the game just because the actual gameplay is so well suited to the third-person perspective.. it's definitely worth playing through at least once in third-person in my opinion.

It's probably just a change in camera position.
This means the details inside of vehicles will look bad and sometimes even block your view, as the game is suited for third person.

If only it had iron-sights. Now that would be a mod.
