Will my PC run just cause 2?

Please tell me if my pc will run just cause 2 without lagging
and if not why.

I'm thinking of ordering a graphics card so tell me if you think I should

Here are my specs:
8gb ram
intel core 2 quad cpu clocked at 2.66 GHz
intel q54 chipset

It will probably run, not at the best quality though, it should handle it. Just about.

It may not run at all on integrated graphics. A person I tried to help a while back could not even get the game to load using his integrated graphics. If it will run expect the worst. You have a pretty aged system already, but a decent dedicated gpu would go a long ways.

Those specs would handle the game, but without dedicated graphics (GPU) you probably will not be able to run the game.

I can run it at around 40 frames per second on low with these specs:
2.6 Ghz dual core i5
4 gb ram
intel hd 4000 integrated graphics

I have Intel HD 4600 Intergrated Graphics with a Intel i5 @ 3.2 GHz and the game runs with some lag in some areas, on low settings of course, but it's still greatly playable. A dedicated GPU is better the Intergrated but it still works.

Erm, when I launch the game I get a message: fatal direct x error!

Please help me (you guys are awsome!)

That's recent, likely a conflict in drivers or an update somewhere.

The game is so old on newer pcs it crashes every 5 minutes

My PC is actually fairly new and it runs it maxed out smooth as silk with no crashes.

AMD FX 8350
Sapphire Radeon 7970 3gb GHZ ed.
Crossair V Formula Z Mobo
32gb 1333mhz RAM (G.Skill Ripjaws)

I have a Dual Core CPU with 4gb Ram and a GT 630 running the game at 35 fps in urban areas and at 50 fps at rural areas. See my screenshot for more details and settings. If I can run this game on a toaster so can you

This game runs awesome and is very friendly on the graphics card. I have a GT620 (2GB) which is a really low end card and very slow. JC2 I can play on almost max settings (except for AA and shadows) in 1920x1080 and have 30 to 40+ fps.
