Just Cause 2 launch

Hello everyone, I would like to ask .why when I want to run the game just cause 2 it doesn't work,Just shows up updating the launch but it will fail by itself. Please help

Before I could play it,But after I reinstalled Windows 10 to a lower version it didn't work anymore. And after I returned to the previous version of Windows 10, Just Cause 2 still wouldn't open. It just got stuck on the launch process and suddenly canceled itself.

I don't know if this would help but just a few minutes ago i tried one last time launching the game and it still said updating exacutables, so I fixed it by going to properties disabling all DLC's then launch the game and it should work when you go back out of the game you can re-download all your DLC's again and it worked for me. Hope this works for you.

The full dlc version is only 2 dollars on gog, don't miss it, the game opens without any problems there.

I've tried a couple of fixes like setting compatibility and launch options, but no luck. I'm also having trouble launching it on my Steam Deck. I was able to play on the Deck a few months ago without issue. I went ahead and bought the game for $2 on GOG like skerbabo stated, GOG version launched without any issues for me

One of the people in this comment named Omar has the .exe file just cause 2. It helps to launch the application, and run normally.

they finally fixed it or just mine idkk

All I had to do was find the game folder in the steam directory and right click the just cause application icon and run as admin. Started just fine and played for a while without issue.
