We need some more research on where the other icons are though, e.g. start menu icons, in-game (stunt jump, enter vehicle, etc)
Anyway, here is what I have, extract into %gamedir%/dropzone/

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I'll test it out sometime later today when I have time (it's like 3am here at the moment), but I'm super happy about this.
What tools did you use to look through the game files? ARC archives are completely foreign to me.
Again, thanks a lot. I can't wait to try it out!

Specifically, Gibbeads r171 Avalanche.* binaries,
- use ArchiveViewer to open the .arc/.tab pairs, contents of these get shadowed by dropzone files
- use SmallUnpack to decompress .blz archives
- use SmallPack to compress a directory to *.sarc, then rename to *.blz
- the *.bin files are compiled *.xml files
*.blz files in the dropzone that decompress to more than 4 MB crash the game on start :(
You will also need some .dds (DXT5) image viewer/editor. What I did was just position a copy of the PS3 icons over the 360 icons, delete the 360 icons and re-save. AFAIK the .dds needs to be in one layer when you save it.
Hope this helps.
Unfortunately with the files you provided in my dropzone the game fails to boot up so I have no idea whether they work or not. I have a handful of other mods installed and tried without any of them in place to eliminate any conflicts but the same thing happened.
I'm not asking for tech support, just letting you know.
The modding tips you gave are super useful but the justcause2mods.com domain seems to be dead. I've been to the site before but in the past few (maybe 2?) weeks it's been inaccessible.
I found the source for version r171 of Gibbed's tools here http://svn.gib.me/public/avalanche/trunk/ but I can't find a binary. Do you have one?
Thanks again, you've helped a lot so far.

Remember to check decompressed size of the .blk file; 4 MB is small for an archive of images
https://pastebin.com/aTSYGpyF uses ps3 button icons instead of xbox.
destination: Just Cause 2/dropzone/text/button_icons.csv
this affects the prompts you see on the HUD such as stunt jump, enter vehicle, and actions that show on the side of the screen when you're driving, piloting or parachuting.

jc2_smallfont_12.font contains the button graphics.
the font format starts with a 4 byte int file length, then an entire dds image file, then some data I didn't figure out yet.
